" Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels"
Once again the humango people of the world had to retaliate and start their oh so annoying whinging and bitching on Ms. Moss. Leave her alone chubbies! Just cos you can't get that body, don't mean that you have to shut the size zeros down! Seroiusly what the fuck is with all the chubsters bitching about size zero models? It is their job to be skinny and to wear the clothes by designers...and for the record, it is NOT EASY maintaining that weight! They are a part of the art world, hence are NOT supposed to look like "normal" people.
And for the record, what the fuck is "normal"? Is it the size 14 mummies who really have nothing going on in their lives, that they have to take their aggregation out on those "unhealthy" models? Oh honey, wake up! Chu aint gona change what it is. And what it is, is that skinny people looks better. It's just a known fact of life. If a obese woman claims she loves herself for who she is, that's good!, but there is no denying that she would look better if she lost the weight. Ain't that true? That is all

OMG SZ14 MUMMIES HAHABABAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteyeah, this is true. being skinny is really difficult to maintain. look at gemma ward. shes no pray mantis anymore
and omg i didnt know that was kate mosses quote. i heard it early on this yr and ive repeated it several times
wow that is a terrible post.
ReplyDeletegood on those models that work their asses off in the gym for hours a day and eat healthy small meals. these models have gorgeous bodies but still look healthy and sexy.
But the ones that don't eat and make themselves sick ARE unhealthy. they look sick, have no colour and its gross. these are the bad role models. they are sick. they suffer from serious issues and disorders.
obviously you have never known anyone who has been ill from these disorders. its sad, and u shuld have a serious think about the consequences of your posts.
shame on you.
so naive.
ReplyDeletewell i believe that a person has the right to be/feel skinny without the constant harrassment from people like you. and in regards to the models, they have a single purpose.they are not there to influence. they are there to simply wear what designers put on them. and frankly if u are fat, you're not goin to get the gig. simple as that. and P.S this post is not targetin towards fat people. its to those who whinge n bitch about skinny people.
ReplyDeletethat is all.

most people find skinny more attractive so i tend to agree, but all to a point of course.. like anonymous said, once it gets to serious issues things aren't as nice.
ReplyDeletei guess the issue is that other people might feel pressure to be just as skinny and resorting to less-than-healthy measures. hopefully these people can make their own decisions..
I have to agree with Bryan.
ReplyDeleteWe will always consider skinnier people to be more attractive.
Modern society has a fascination with skinny people, because of how easy it is to be obese these days.
The skinny people often represent the portion of the society with the willpower to refuse the cheeseburger and fries that seduce us from the never-ending fastfood chains.
So it's impossible to blame it on simply the anorexic models who are themselves victims of this image-driven society that we are all part of.
Skinniness and attractiveness are one and the same. This a lie, which the has been promoted in the media for decades. What makes someone look attractive is whether they are healthy or not. When you are healthy, you have a glow to your skin, your eyes and hair shine, and you will have toned muscles from exercising. Skinniness is just a bi-product of being healthy. People need to realise that attractiveness comes from being healthy, not from being skinny.

ReplyDelete-well put.
frustrates me how ignorant people are just imitating what they think(or what the media has shown them) is cool.
if you want to be healthy- then be in a healthy weight range(not cause u want to be as skinny as a model-you arent one!
if you like a piece of clothing- buy it for u not becuz a magazine told u its cool
if u prefer same sex- go there because thats who you are not because u will do anything to be "outrageous and cool"
i could go on..
Who are these thought provoking people!??! You make really interesting points... And to just clear things up, everyone has their own perspective on every issue/topic in life, be it being too skinny, sexuality, religion, fashion...etc
ReplyDeleteEveryone has thier own opinions and I for one respect it...only in the comment section-and not ze overweight 'size14' mummies. :)
have a good day thought provokers.
